Project Temporal
The Temporal Project itself
This project, I have big plans for. This is the main dish, which could potentially bring future meals in.
This fighting game continues where the Prelude Phase ended. A few of the characters in the Prelude Phase return, excluding the player character in the prelude phase game. In this game, you play as characters from the other realities, with their own unique abilities, against other characters, again, from different realities.
Completing the Arcade mode with certain characters gives more insight to the state of the world in which the project takes place in. After getting all the canonical endings, the final story will begin. In the Final Story, you play as a large team of characters, that you played in Arcade Mode, and put an end to the Temporal Project, or at least attempt to.
I have big plans for this project, such as expanding the number of realities merging. We'll see what happens, eh?
The game will be titled Temporal Conflict, which was planned to be the name of this game.
Originally, I planned to release this game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, both physically and digitally. However, due to recent events as of 3/28/2024, I will only release the game on PC, mainly due to feeling uncomfortable with guidelines of Microsoft's "Project Inclusion Action"*, and censorship that had happened years prior with the PlayStation platform**.
*The set of guidelines limit my creativity, and I feel uncomfortable about being forced to possibly change the designs I had planned for the female characters to meet these guidelines. The reasons why I planned the designs like that in the first place is because I want them to look pretty, and show that they can be also be strong. Something that the DEI companies probably don't quite understand. There's that and I sense racism, sexism, body shaming (in a way), and exclusion (instead of inclusion) if I follow the "Project Inclusion Action" to a point***.
**This is older news and are possibly reversed at this point, but there was a time where Sony would have developers censor a game because of certain scenes in it, yet would allow a certain scene with The Last of Us Part II. That was a well enough reason to not release Temporal Conflict to the PlayStation Platform.
***I don't mind adding Diversity and LGBT+ things in my games, but I'm not going to make it plainly obvious and ruin the game(s) I make with it. If I make a character gay, lesbian, or bisexual, then they are that way and I'll show their sexuality toward a character they end up falling in love with, not force that toward other peoples' throats. Because I want to make a fun game and story. As for diversity, I try to make diverse characters if I can.
